
E-Plus is led by its General Manager, Billy Fung, who first entered the office furniture industry in 1979. From Between 1982 to 2001, Billy joined Lamex, a company which eventually became the most successful office furniture manufacturer and marketer in Hong Kong. Billy served on the board as the Director of Sales; his involvement in the company greatly contributed to its soaring success in becoming publicly listed in Hong Kong and its eventual sale to a well-known American corporation. This extended period of time enabled Billy to see the revolution of furniture, from importing overseas to manufacturing in China.
Billy began overseeing the manufacturing process in 1990, long before global industries began moving their production lines to Asia. This helped build his familiarity with machinery and materials, complying with requirements in-line with American standards. Managing the sales aspect allowed Billy to come into direct contact with a great variety of clients; thus he is very clear on client needs and is able to provide sound advice. Using his networks and knowledge of the industry, Billy started E-Plus in 2001 serving professional clients such as architects, interior designers and corporate personnel, with plans to expand to North America beginning 2009.
