Manufacturing
At E-Plus, we have had experience in manufacturing furniture in Asia long before the trend of global industries moving their production lines eastward. After a number of years working with factories, we have acquired the valuable knowledge of determining where each factory’s strengths lie.
Factories have different strong suits depending on the skills taught to their workers and the level of expectations given by the principals. A factory excelling in woodworking may not be the same one that excels in stainless steel work; similarly, each factory varies in the quality of materials, machinery, and craftsmanship used to produce goods. We are familiar with every aspect of each supplier in our network, and are able to assign the proper task to the most suitable supplier according to their respective strengths.
Aside from products, working with factories in Asia require a deep understanding of the local business culture and people, this is an area where many businesses find difficulty. It is essential not only to understand the manufacturing process and industry, but also global standards, local laws, and political leadership. Our geographic location being in Hong Kong allows us to have a clear understanding of any unpredictable factors affecting trades which may arise due to cultural and political differences in China.
